Former bantamweight titleholder Sean O’Malley went into the UFC 316 championship rematch against Merab Dvalishvili confident that he would win back the title from the man who took it. But it wan’t meant to be. The two first fought at the historic UFC 306 event at The Sphere in Las Vegas last September. The fight went the distance with Dvalishvili winning via unanimous decision and he was even better in the rematch.
