Dillashaw was successful in his octagon return Saturday when he edged Cory Sandhagen in the UFC on ESPN 27 main event. Dillashaw (17-4 MMA, 13-4 UFC) earned his first victory in nearly three years when he beat Sandhagen (14-3 MMA, 7-2 UFC) by split decision in his return fight following a well-documented doping suspension that cost him his UFC title. The former champion came back strong, though, and overcame adversity at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas
