The last of four UFC events in September went down on Saturday with UFC Fight Night 137, which took place at Ibirapuera Gymnasium in Sao Paulo, with a five-fight main card that aired on FS1. In the makeshift main event, Thiago “Marreta” Santos (19-6 MMA, 11-5 UFC) was successful in his light heavyweight debut when he got the better of Eryk Anders (11-2 MMA, 3-2 UFC) for a third-round TKO and a “Fight of the Night” bonus to go along with it. Prior to Santos’ victory, Alex Oliveira (19-5-1 MMA, 9-3 UFC), Antonio Rogerio Nogueira (23-8 MMA, 6-5 UFC) and Andre Ewell (14-4 MMA, 1-0 UFC) emerged on top from their bouts.
