Sean Spencer Sean Spencer is going to have to wait a little longer to bounce back from being robbed by the judges in his most recent outing. Spencer (12-4 MMA, 3-3 UFC) was scheduled to face Mike Pyle (26-10-1 MMA, 9-5 UFC) at UFC 187. The bout was Spencer’s first fight back since losing a near-unanimously derided decision to Cathal Pendred at UFC Fight Night 59. However, an injury has knocked Spencer out of the bout, leaving the UFC looking for a new opponent for Pyle. MMAjunkie today learned of the injury from sources close to the fighters. The sources spoke on the condition of anonymity because they are not authorizes to publicly discuss such matters.
