Anzai (10-2 MMA, 2-1 UFC) topped Luke Jumeau (12-4 MMA, 1-1 UFC) with a pair of 29-28 scores and a 30-27 thanks to solid work in the clinch and takedowns in front of his home-city fans. For Anzai, it was a hard-fought victory that was a long time coming.
