LAS VEGAS – Stephanie Egger got the job done, but perhaps not as she expected. The UFC women’s bantamweight was a bit surprised on how fast her bout against Shanna Young was stopped at Saturday’s UFC Fight Night 193. Egger (6-2 MMA, 1-1 UFC) was winning the fight, landing ground-and-pound on Young. Many thought Young was intelligently defending herself, but the referee called off the fight awarding the TKO win to Egger.
