NEW YORK – Stephen Thompson thinks he’ll be competing against a familiar style come Saturday night. Thompson (14-4-1 MMA, 9-4-1 UFC) takes on Vicente Luque (17-6-1 MMA, 10-2 UFC) on the UFC 244 main card, and thinks Luque possesses a similar style to Jorge Masvidal , whom Thompson beat by unanimous decision in 2017. “The guy has some great knockouts, has fought some really good guys,” Thompson told MMA Junkie. “He’s on a six-fight winning streak.
