Since that fight, MacFarlane had a successful Bellator debut over Maria Rios and followed it with a submission win over Amber Tackett to solidify her standout status in the promotion’s growing women’s flyweight division. Now, about to face her “hands down toughest opponent to date” in Rebecca Ruth (6-1 MMA, 1-0 BMMA) at tonight’s Bellator 157 event, MacFarlane (3-0 MMA, 2-0 BMMA) said she’s embraced whatever fame has come with the “soccer mom” video in order to move forward with her career.
