In the main event, UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson, who lives near Seattle, defends his belt for the second time when he takes on John Moraga – a fighter who is 2-0 in the UFC, but in two fights that have opened up preliminary cards. Johnson and Moraga had a reasonably calm face-off after each weighing in a half-pound under the limit at 124.5 pounds. Saturday’s co-main event has stolen some of the thunder from the title fight thanks to the back-and-forth trash talk between welterweight contenders Jake Ellenberger and Rory MacDonald.
