SEATTLE – MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) was on scene for today’s official fighter weigh-ins for UFC on FOX 8, where all 24 competitors are official for Saturday’s card. In the main event, UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson, who lives near Seattle, defends his belt for the second time when he takes on John Moraga – a fighter who is 2-0 in the UFC, but in two fights that have opened up preliminary cards. Johnson and Moraga had a reasonably calm face-off after each weighing in a half-pound under the limit at 124.5 pounds. Saturday’s co-main event has stolen some of the thunder from the title fight thanks to the back-and-forth trash talk between welterweight contenders Jake Ellenberger and Rory MacDonald. But despite the growing bad blood, their face-off was fairly uneventful, as well. Ellenberger weighed in at 171 pounds, while MacDonald was 170.5
