Ronda Rousey and Bethe Correia Patricky Freire isn’t making excuses for teammate Bethe Correia ’s loss to Ronda Rousey at UFC 190. However, he thinks a rematch between the two competitors would be “very different.” Freire, who shares the “Pitbull” nickname with Correia (9-1 MMA, 3-1 UFC) and his brother Patricio, helped Correia prepare for her anticipated UFC 190 showdown with Rousey (12-0 MMA, 6-0 UFC) earlier this month in Rio de Janeiro. The fight did not go as Correia or her team had planned. She suffered a knockout loss just 34 seconds into the opening round for the first defeat of her career. She was 9-0 prior to that contest, but a perfectly placed right hand from Rousey sent the Brazilian crashing face-first into the canvas
