At one point during Saturday night’s UFC 248 broadcast, cageside commentator Joe Rogan said Joanna Jedrzejczyk looked like Frankenstein. He pretty much nailed. Jedrzejczyk lost a tough split decision to strawweight champion Zhang Weili at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. For my money, it was the greatest women’s MMA fight of all time and in the conversation for greatest MMA fight of all time period. The evidence of that was all over the faces of both Weili and Jedrzejczyk, but especially Jedrzejczyk, whose hematoma on her forehead had her looking like … well, like Frankenstein.
