RIO DE JANEIRO – One year after losing to rival “The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil 4” lightweight finalist Glaico Franca, Fernando Bruno will have a second chance in the octagon on July 8, this time in his usual 145-pound division. As far as featherweight christenings go, however, Bruno’s (15-3 MMA, 0-1 UFC) might not be the easiest. It will be up to “Acougueiro” (Portuguese for “butcher”) to welcome onetime title challenger Gray Maynard (11-5-1 MMA, 9-5-1 UFC) into the UFC’s 145-pound division. Coming off a four-fight losing skid, one can imagine this is a commitment that Maynard will not take lightly. But, feeling not so breezy about it himself, Bruno believes it just might make things more interesting. “In terms of pressure, it goes both ways,” Bruno said in a media scrum at his Nova Uniao team’s Rio de Janeiro headquarters to promote The Ultimate Fighter 23 Finale featherweight scrap
