In the main event, former heavyweight champion Frank Mir (17-9 MMA, 15-9 UFC) takes on the heavy-handed Todd Duffee (9-2 MMA, 3-1 UFC). In addition, Josh Thomson (20-7 MMA, 3-3 UFC) meets Tony Ferguson (18-3 MMA, 8-1 UFC) in an intriguing lightweight battle, and the streaking Al Iaquinta (12-3-1 MMA, 7-2 UFC) meets Bobby Green (23-6 MMA, 4-1 UFC). UFC Fight Night 71 takes place July 15 at Valley View Casino Center in San Diego. The majority of the card is expected to air on FOX Sports 1 following early prelims on UFC Fight Pass
