He stood in front of the commission after testing positive for multiple banned substances and received a fine for $380,000 and a one-year suspension (retroactive to Jan. 31, 2014). Silva tested positive for the PEDs androstane and drostanolone, yet he attributed those positive tests to off-market sexual performance-enhancers.
