Triad Combat is a new style of fighting that takes place in a triangular ring, incorporating boxing and MMA rules . The idea is to set professional boxers against professional MMA fighters in an environment that “levels the playing field.” Tonight’s card features MMA notables in former UFC heavyweight champion Frank Mir , former UFC and Bellator heavyweight Matt Mitrione , former UFC welterweight Mike Perry , and former Bellator featherweight Derek Campos .
