Brad Katona ’s first test as an official UFC Fighter is on the horizon. On Friday, the promotion announced that Katona, bantamweight winner on Season 27 of “The Ultimate Fighter,” will meet Matthew Lopez at UFC 231. UFC 231 takes place Dec. 8 at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto and airs on pay-per-view following prelims expected to be on FS1 and UFC Fight Pass. Katona (7-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC), who hails from Winnipeg, will look to keep his undefeated record in tact against Lopez (10-3 MMA, 2-3 UFC)
