Former UFC featherweight Godofredo “Pepey” Castro was found dead in a Florida detention center on Sunday. He was 38 years old. Castro had been incarcerated since late June on allegations that he assaulted his wife, Samara Mello. He was facing charges that included kidnapping with bodily harm and intimidation of the victim, domestic assault by strangulation, obstruction of communication with the police, and domestic violence.
