Brian Ortega put himself into UFC featherweight contender territory on Saturday when he defeated Cub Swanson in the UFC Fight Night 123 headliner. Ortega (13-0 MMA, 5-0 UFC) further added to his undefeated record and made himself a contender when he beat Swanson (25-8 MMA, 10-4 UFC) by second-round submission in the FS1-televised headliner at Save Mart Center in Fresno, Calif.
