The second meeting definitely settled the score because Oliveira (20-4 MMA, 8-4 UFC) finished Lentz (25-7-2 MMA, 9-4-1 UFC) with a third-round submission in UFC Fight Night 67’s co-main event at Goiania Arena in Goiania, Goias, Brazil. It was a back-and-forth affair much like the first bout, but in the final round Oliveira ended the fight with his seventh submission victory in UFC competition.
