The UFC 168 main event between Chris Weidman  and Anderson Silva  ended in shocking fashion as Silva suffered a broken leg to force a TKO stoppage in the second round. Weidman (11-0 MMA, 7-0 UFC) had the upper hand up until the stunning finish as he dropped Silva (33-6 MMA, 16-2 UFC) with a punch from the clinch in the opening round and worked a methodical attack of ground-and-pound strikes. In the second frame, Silva launched a hard leg kick that Weidman checked, and the Brazilian immediately went down, screaming in agony
