After a more than three-year break from MMA competition, Fedor Emelianenko returned to the fight game with a first-round TKO of Jiadeep Singh at Rizin Fighting Federation 1: Day 2. Emelianenko (35-4) has made a career of fighting in Japan on New Year’s Eve, and is undefeated when competing under those circumstances. His perfect record remained in tact when he scored a takedown on Singh (2-1) early in the bout and finished his opponent off with a flurry of ground-and-pound at Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan.
