Glover Teixeira once again put his massive power on display when he quickly dispatched of former UFC champ Rashad Evans in UFC on FOX 19’s main event tonight at Amalie Arena in Tampa, Fla. Teixeira’s (25-4 MMA, 8-2 UFC) pressure simply overwhelmed Evans (19-5-1 MMA, 14-5-1 UFC) and within two minutes of the opening round the Brazilian caught “Suga” with a massive series of punches that put him out cold, giving Teixeira his third consecutive victory in the light heavyweight division.
