Nurmagomedov (24-0 MMA, 8-0 UFC) was hospitalized due to a bad weight cut ahead of today’s official weigh-ins and therefor h is scheduled interim UFC lightweight title clash with Ferguson (22-3 MMA, 12-1 UFC) was scrapped. It was the third time the fight between the two contenders has gone awry, and as a result UFC 209 lost arguably its most anticipated fight.
