Khabib Nurmagomedov’s legendary run of success continued – and seemingly came to an end – on Saturday when he registered his third title defense against Justin Gaethje in the UFC 254 main event. Nurmagomedov (29-0 MMA, 13-0 UFC) proved once again that he’s the top lightweight in the sport when he unified his belt with interim champion Gaethje (22-3 MMA, 5-3 UFC) courtesy of a second-round submission victory in the pay-per-view headliner, which took place at Flash Forum at Yas Island in Abu Dhabi.
