UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones and No. 1 contender Daniel Cormier today appeared before the Nevada State Athletic Commission to answer questions about their infamous August brawl . Jones (20-1 MMA, 14-1 UFC) and Cormier (15-0 MMA, 4-0 UFC) engaged in a heated staredown that ultimately escalated into much more at the Aug. 4 media day inside Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Hotel & Casino. As a result, both faced disciplinary action from the commission. The result saw Jones receive a $50,000 fine along with 40 hours of community service.
