Samman (12-4 MMA, 3-2 UFC) was hospitalized and in a coma for nearly a week before he was pronounced dead . He was a five-fight UFC veteran who most recently competed at UFC Fight Night 91 in July, where he suffered a second-round TKO loss to Tim Boetsch.
