The MMA community was stunned tonight when UFC officials announced on the UFC 181 broadcast that former WWE champion Phil “ CM Punk ” Brooks signed with the organization. Brooks (0-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC) is expected to make his octagon debut sometime in 2015 and will likely compete in the middleweight division. The 36-year-old has no professional MMA experience, but will jump into the sports highest level, which didn’t seem to sit well with a number of current fighters.
