Tonya Evinger The story of Tonya Evinger ’s career turnaround took another step in the right direction when in Invicta FC 14’s main event she stopped Pannie Kianzad by second-round TKO for her eighth consecutive victory. Evinger (17-5) dominated Kianzad (8-1) from beginning to end as she landed takedowns, a knockdown and eventually a fight-ending barrage of punches for the finish. The bout should have marked Evinger’s first bantamweight title defense, but Kianzad missed weight and therefor the matchup was turned into a non-title affair
