Flyweight contender John Lineker is honest about this weekend’s UFC 163 event: Replacement Jose Maria is probably a better fit than his original opponent, Phil Harris . Sure, Harris (22-10 MMA, 1-1 UFC) has won six of his past seven fights and recently defeated Ulysses Gomez at UFC on FUEL TV 7, and among your average MMA fan, he probably has more name recognition than promotional newcomer Maria (33-2 MMA, 0-0 UFC). But as Lineker (21-6 MMA, 2-1 UFC) explained, Harris, who was forced off the card with a fractured orbital bone, also possessed the one skill that’s been a constant annoyance to him: wrestling. “I think this is a better opponent for me,” Lineker told MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com). “With Harris, he was going to try to take me down.
