MEXICO CITY – Recent featherweight title challenger Ricardo Lamas (15-3 MMA, 5-1 UFC) spoiled the title aspirations of Dennis Bermudez (14-4 MMA, 7-2 UFC), seizing on opportunity to earn a first-round finish. Lamas dropped Bermudez with a jab before locking up a guillotine that forced his surging opponent to tap out. The featherweight bout was part of the main card of today’s UFC 180 event at Mexico City Arena. It aired on pay-per-view following prelims on FOX Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass
