Valmir Lazaro LOS ANGELES –  Valmir Lazaro was able to outwork  James Krause over three rounds of their UFC 184 prelim bout, earning a split decision. Both Krause (21-7 MMA, 2-3 UFC) and Lazaro (13-3 MMA, 1-1 UFC) were content to spend the majority of the fight using their long frames to score from a variety of angles. But Lazaro got the split call with scores of 29-28, 28-29, 29-28. The lightweight bout was part of the preliminary card of today’s UFC 184 event at Staples Center in Los Angeles.
