Donald Cerrone One of the UFC’s most compelling fight cards of the year took place Saturday as Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena hosted UFC 187. Two title fights topped the bill, and in the end, one new champion was crowned while the other kept a firm grip on the gold. Four of five main-card fights ended with a stoppage, but the stars of the night were new light-heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier  (16-1 MMA, 5-1 UFC) and reigning middleweight titleholder Chris Weidman  (13-0 MMA, 9-0 UFC).
