Filed under: Featured , News , UFC , Videos In the ninth episode of “UFC 189 World Championship Tour Embedded” in advance of July’s blockbuster featherweight title fight, Jose Aldo and Conor McGregor head to London. The organization announced earlier this month announced a 12-day, 10-city media tour to promote UFC 189’s pay-per-view headliner between reigning titleholder Aldo (25-1 MMA, 7-0 UFC) and McGregor (17-2 MMA, 5-0 UFC). It takes place July 11 at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena, and ahead of the summer blockbuster, the UFC’s “Embedded” series joins them on the tour. In the ninth episode, Aldo heads to Emirates Stadium for a soccer match, both fighters do interviews in the famed London Eye, and then, as we’ve grown accustomed to, they get face to face at a news conference – with McGregor telling Aldo he forgot the belt. McGregor then watches a prior episode of “Embedded” to see Aldo saying he plans something special for McGregor’s home city of Dublin – and McGregor says he’ll “smack him” in Ireland.
