It’s more than nine months away, but the UFC already is giving fans the heads up for UFC 189 and the 2015 “International Fight Week.” Next year’s annual “International Fight Week” event in Las Vegas has been scheduled for July 7-12, the promotion on Thursday announced. The week’s highlight will be the UFC 189 pay-per-view on July 11. This year’s “International Fight Week” was centered around UFC 175 and was announced in late February, a little more than four months before the events took place. The lead time give the 2015 incarnation of the event may serve as some proof of its popularity. Nearly 70,000 fans attended the 2014 “International Fight Week,” the UFC said.
