Filed under: News , UFC , Videos UFC 189 is going to be something special, and ahead of the pay-per-view blockbuster, the organization has debuted “UFC 189 World Championship Tour Embedded.” The organization announced earlier this month a 12-day, 10-city media tour to promote UFC 189’s PPV headliner between reigning titleholder Jose Aldo (25-1 MMA, 7-0 UFC) and challenger Conor McGregor (17-2 MMA, 5-0 UFC). It takes place July 11 at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena, and ahead of the summer blockbuster, the UFC’s “Embedded” series joins them on the tour. In the first episode, the fighters arrive in Rio de Janeiro, where McGregor is surprisingly feeling at home – and getting shirtless and animated in an Irish pub (check out the video below for more from that scene). The fighters then head to a spirited press conference for a heated face-off as McGregor tries to win over the Brazilian fans. Check out the full episode above.
