Finally, in the third round, with just seconds left, he got the finish he had been looking for. With the submission win over Bruno (15-3 MMA, 0-1 UFC), Franca (13-3 MMA, 1-0 UFC) became the Season 4 lightweight winner of “The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil.” The fight was part of Saturday’s UFC 190 event at HSBC Arena in Rio de Janerio.
