Albert Tumenov HOUSTON – Daniel Cormier , Alexander Gustafsson , Albert Tumenov and Adriano Martins each earned $50,000 bonuses for their performances at Saturday’s UFC 192 event. Tumenov and Martins took home “Performance of the Night” awards, and Cormier and Gustafsson earned “Fight of the Night” honors. UFC officials announced the figures at the post-event news conference, which MMAjunkie attended. Light heavyweight champion Cormier (17-1 MMA, 6-1 UFC) and Gustafsson (16-4 MMA, 8-4 UFC) slugged it out for 25 minutes in the main event, with Cormier taking a split-decision win over the Swede. It was Gustafsson’s second close loss in a title fight after a similar battle with former champ Jon Jones a little more than two years ago. Tumenov (16-2 MMA, 4-1 UFC) shocked Alan Jouban (12-4 MMA, 3-2 UFC) with a perfectly placed head kick that stunned the welterweight in the first round, and he followed it up with big punches to get the finish.
