But the youngster, who picked up a win on Saturday at UFC 192, said it took a recent knockout loss to assure he chose the right profession. In a UFC Fight Pass-streamed preliminary-card bout at Houston’s Toyota Center, Pettis (13-2 MMA, 4-2 UFC) dominated two rounds and then survived the third to pick up a unanimous-decision victory over former title challenger Chris Cariaso (17-8 MMA, 7-6 UFC)
