He recently mentioned on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast , “This fight broke every record we’ve ever had from the venue, to merchandise, to commercial pay-per-view, everything.” He went on to say that Holly Holm was trending No. 1 worldwide, even during the NFL football games on Sunday, the day after the fight. Even with the Green Bay Packers losing and the New England Patriots barely beating the New York Giants with six seconds left, Holm was the talk of the town… or should we say world? UFC 193 set an attendance record for the promotion, and record gate numbers for Etihad Stadium, where it was held in Melbourne, Australia
