The battle lived up to the hype, with Lawler retaining his title in a split decision . The welterweight title bout was the main event of today’s UFC 195 event at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. It aired on pay-per-view following prelims on FOX Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass. The fight was a battle of quantity versus quality in the striking department as Condit (30-9 MMA, 7-5 UFC) continually came forward, throwing extended combinations and catching Lawler (27-10 MMA, 12-4 UFC) throughout every round.
