At today’s commission hearing in Las Vegas, commissioners named John McCarthy the referee of the heavyweight main event and rematch between champion Fabricio Werdum (20-5-1 MMA, 8-2 UFC) and former titleholder Cain Velasquez (13-2 MMA, 11-2 UFC UFC 196 takes place Feb. 6 at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on FOX Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass
