Filed under: News , UFC , Videos Demetrious Johnson was on the same card as Jon Jones and had the chance to make a statement about who the true pound-for-pound king is. And what a statement he made, stopping former Olympic gold medalist Henry Cejudo in the first round. The flyweight title bout was the co-main event of the UFC 197 event at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. It aired on pay-per-view following prelims on FOX Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass. Johnson (24-2-1 MMA, 12-1-1 UFC) was briefly taken to the mat by Cejudo (10-1 MMA, 4-1 UFC), but after surviving without taking damage, the champ worked back to his feet and landed a series of hard knees from the clinch that brought about the end of the fight.
