CLEVELAND – MMAjunkie was on scene and reporting live from today’s early UFC 203 fighter weigh-ins – where title challenger Alistair Overeem was fined for being late to the scale. A heavyweight title fight between champion Stipe Miocic (15-2 MMA, 9-2 UFC) and Overeem (41-14 MMA, 6-3 UFC) headlines the card. Miocic weighed in at 246 pounds for the first defense of his title. Overeem was not much heavier at 248.5 – but because he missed his deadline for weighing in, he was fined $500 by the Ohio Athletic Commission. The early weigh-ins, which precede the ceremonial affair later today, took place in Cleveland.
