MANCHESTER, England – If Daniel Omielanczuk was hoping that fighting in the clinch would help him negate Stefan Struve ’s massive height advantage, he found out relatively quickly how wrong he was. After dominating Omielanczuk (19-6-1 MMA, 4-3 UFC) on the mat in the first, Struve (28-8 MMA, 12-6 UFC) scored a trip takedown followed by D’arce choke for the finish, forcing the tap at the 1:41 mark of Round 2. The heavyweight bout was part of the main card of today’s UFC 204 event at Manchester Arena in Manchester, England.
