Filed under: Featured Videos , News , UFC , Videos TORONTO – Kelvin Gastelum still won’t give up on his desire to compete in the UFC welterweight division despite earning a victory over a top-ranked middleweight in Tim Kennedy at UFC 206. Gastelum (13-2 MMA, 8-2 UFC), who methodically broke down Kennedy (18-6 MMA, 3-2 UFC) for a third-round TKO on Saturday’s pay-per-view main card at Air Canada Centre in Toronto, said his ultimate goal is to prove to the UFC he can safely and consistently make the welterweight limit, because he believes 170 pounds is the best weight class for him. With that said, Gastelum said he would still be willing to fight at 185 pounds if the UFC offers him a matchup of interest.
