That obviously wasn’t the case. Mein (29-10 MMA, 3-2 UFC) surprised many people when at just 27 he decided to walk away from the sport he’s been doing for more than a decade. He said he was worn out both mentally and physically, but as time passed, the itch for competition started to come back.
