Back at welterweight, Alves (22-11 MMA, 14-8 UFC) defeated Cote (23-11 MMA, 10-11 UFC) by unanimous decision after bloodying him through 15 minutes. The welterweight bout was part of the main card of today’s UFC 210 event at KeyBank Center in Buffalo, N.Y.
