The same venue hosts Saturday’s event, which has a main card on pay-per-view following prelims on FS1 and UFC Fight Pass. In the co-main event, Daniel Cormier (19-1 MMA, 8-1 UFC) meets Volkan Oezdemir (15-1 MMA, 3-0 UFC) in the first defense of his second reign as light heavyweight champion. Cormier has often said Oezdemir will be entering another level against him and repeated that sentiment after having to be restrained during their face-off. “Sometimes you can go into a tournament, and you win matches you’re not supposed to, and you get just too deep,” Cormier told Joe Rogan
