But when Cormier (21-1 MMA, 10-1 UFC) got free, his power evened the score with a shirt right hook that knocked out Miocic (18-3 MMA, 12-3 UFC) and made him the second simultaneous two-division champion in UFC history. The heavyweight title bout was the main event of today’s UFC 226 show at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. It aired on pay-per-view following prelims on FS1 and UFC Fight Pass.
